Santosh was born on March 26, 1976. Born into an ordinary family, Santosh’s parents’ hard work and honesty instilled in him a sense of humor.
Through Balshahir Kala Pathak, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj performed Povada on the occasion of his childhood and enlightened the society.
In order to provide knowledge of law to the poor farmers and workers, he went to the talukas and villages and created awareness through Vidhigandh Seva Sanstha.
He also edited the weekly ‘Vidhigandh’ and did journalism.
Disseminated legal advice and legal information through this weekly.
His elder brother Nagesh, who is currently the President of Industrial Court, Maharashtra in Mumbai and on the advice of the then MP Lingarajji Valyal, was elected as the Secretary of the Solapur Bar Association in 2007-08.
He was re-elected as the Vice President of the Bar Association in the year 2013-14.
In January 1016, the Government of Maharashtra appointed him as the District Government Advocate. Solapur District and Sessions Court became the youngest district government prosecutor in its history.

During his two-and-a-half year tenure, he convicted 15 major and minor accused in the case and also sentenced a minor girl within 60 days of the incident.
It is a matter of pride to say that in the past, the result in favor of the ruling party was 22%, but due to the conscientious performance of Santosh Nhavkar, it has gone up to 31% in the first year and 45% in the second year.
At the end of his tenure as Public Prosecutor, he participated in the election for the post of President of Solapur Bar Association and was elected in a triangular contest. In December 2018, a state level cricket tournament was organized for advocates in which as many as 78 teams from all over Maharashtra participated. A total of 116 matches were played in the tournament which was played on 15 grounds at the same time. Advocates from all over Maharashtra appreciated this event. He made another great contribution to the crown of Solapur.
He was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Global Human Peace University in Chennai for his legal work.

Santosh Nhavkar, who was born into a very ordinary family and holds the post of District Public Prosecutor at the youngest age due to his hard work, is truly a role model.
